Here we have listed some “Frequently Asked Questions” about our property, sightseeing options and some rules and regulations related to our property. You are requested to check this page carefully before visiting. Also, if you have any queries, which are not listed in this “FAQ” page, then please inform us and we would list it.


 

HOW TO BOOK KHAWAS HOMESTAY?

Please use the enquiry form under the “Contact” link of this website. We will reply to your enquiry with availability and other terms and conditions. After we receive your confirmation email, we will send you Bank details for payment.

WHAT ARE THE CANCELLATION RULES?

  • No refund is allowed against cancellation. However, one postponement can be availed within six months of the booking date subject to availability. Request for postponement should be informed by guest at least 10 days before the date of journey.
  • During the stay or on arrival, if part cancellations are requested, NO REFUND will be allowed.

DO YOU ARRANGE FOR TRANSPORT FOR PICKUP/DROP AND SIGHTSEEING?

Yes, we can make arrangements for local sightseeing and pickup drop from NJP/ Siliguri/ Bagdogra/ or other places. Costs depend on the season of your visit. After you receive the booking slip from our booking office, call us to make arrangements for transport. We only make transport arrangements for guests who have confirmed booking at our home stay.

WHAT FOOD DO WE GET?

STANDARD FOOD PLAN:

  • Lunch: Rice, bhaja, egg curry, dal, sabji, salad
  • Evening: black tea or milk tea, veg pakora
  • Dinner: Rice, Roti, Chicken curry, Sabji, Dal and Salad
  • Bed Tea: black tea or milk tea
  • Breakfast: Roti or puri with Sabji and tea

Any other food ordered by guest will be extra chargeable.

DO I HAVE TO CLIMB STAIRS TO REACH YOUR HOME STAY?

To reach our “New Building” you do not have to climb stairs. To reach our “Main Building” and “Cottage”, you have to climb some stairs, around 5 mins from where the car will drop you.
